Sadao Fukunishi founded the company in October 1946 in Kita-ku, Osaka City. He wanted to contribute to the world by working with electricity to light up the town. From that moment, he began the journey to become a general wholesaler.

The company opened a series of branches and sales offices in Osaka, Hyogo, and Tokyo, and sales exceeded 10 billion yen in 1976. The company created new technologies and products and entered new markets with the aim of growing even amidst economic turbulence from the economic boom created by the Tokyo Olympic Games, demand for the World Exposition, and the global recession.

The company opened a series of branches and sales offices in Osaka, Hyogo, and Tokyo, and sales exceeded 10 billion yen in 1976.   • Relocated the Sakai Sales Office and separated the technical divisions of Instrumentation, Control, and Design to the Sakai branch to form Kinki Keiso Co., Ltd.

  • Established a new product center in Toyonaka City to serve as the central base for company-wide product distribution

  • Completed the head office building in Matsugae-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka City

After the collapse of the bubble economy in 1991, the company began making organizational reforms. The group companies were integrated and relaunched as Fukunishi Electrical Co., Ltd., in 1993.

In 2004, the company became an affiliate of Matsushita Electric Works Ltd., (now Panasonic Corporation). We established systems and encouraged operation reforms to make the company a public entity of society. Company sales rose year by year, except directly after the 2008 financial crisis, and the company began its path toward expansion and equilibrium.
